Yet another nice toned coin that I received this week. (I'm spending way too much on them lately!)

It's an 1867 Bavarian silver Thaler (KM #489).

I'd call it an EF-AU coin, possibly lightly cleaned, that has taken on a nice gray and silver tone. I really like the Madonna reverse.

It's seen some circulation and has a fair amount of wear, but I really like the two-toned brown patina on this 1890 Victoria Half Penny.
She is very nice!

I assume you believe all Silver Eagles are artificially toned?

I recently bought a group of modern silver coins for a little less than melt. Two of them were superbly toned.

Beautiful reverse toning on both those Austrian coins.

It is interesting how many coins are magnificently toned, but only on one side.
