More beautifully toned Austrian silver - an 1848-A 20 Kreuzer. It just arrived today.
That is beautiful!

Love it when I find these with the subtle purple toning with remaining luster

Toned Silver Eagles sell like crazy. I buy them in junk bins for low and sell them as is to people. I don't set the price, the buyers always do.

A lot of times these toned coins are culled and dealers are missing out on wild money to be made. I'll take what they don't want.

It's seen some circulation and has a fair amount of wear, but I really like the two-toned brown patina on this 1890 Victoria Half Penny.

Our office administrator at church came into my office today to show me this funny colored 2012 Roosevelt dime. She didn't know what a toned coin was, so I explained it to her. She let me buy it from her for a dime.

The photos don't quite capture the dark gray, blue and a bit of red on the obverse.
