There are some lovely looking notes here. The Brazilian ones just look like 'Thomas de la Rue' printed pieces straightaway. Beautiful.

I really like the Little Prince note from France. If you look closely there many secret hidden characters from the book. Like the Snake swallowing the Elephant and the almost invisible White Sheep.

Quote: "In 1967, provisional issues were made consisting of "old" cruzeiro notes which were overstamped with the values 1, 5, 10 and 50 centavos, and 1, 5 and 10 cruzeiros novos." I've definitely stepped up the buying during the quarantine, and picked up things I've been wanting to for a while! This Cuba 1945 100 Peso Silver Certificate (printed by the BEP) was on the list- I really like the vignette on the reverse with the Havana landmarks and the Cuban coat of arms! If only this note could talk! It is fairly worn, so I know that it saw a lot of circulation in its day. I wonder how many cigars this note could have purchased. Or how long I would have lasted in a Havana casino with this

Some mighty nice banknotes lately, everyone! As for me, I have two from Aruba. I was there as part of a cruise last December, but sadly no banks were open, and I did not have a chance to get any at Face Value. Nevertheless, I'm happy with these, and I am surprised to find the 25 Florin has the cave drawings I saw during my visit.
