Quote: Here's another addition from my recent trip - a new polymer $5 issued by the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank: Gorgeous! I'll have to look into getting one of those. Quote: I got this P-395 £10 as a Christmas exchange gift from another collector from another site: Wow, another nice one!

Quote: Wow, another nice one! Thanks @Celticknot & @jbuck, but honestly, that £10 could not shine a light to this 10 Rupee from Ceylon (which is the nation of the first post made 12 years ago). Happy with it as I haven't seen too many:

Came across this oddity recently. A Central Bank of China 1928 $100 for Chungking, but it has very clumsily overprinted markings for Chungking and without Chungking printed across Shanghai in English on the back (as with the normal version). I've also noticed that an identical note appears as the example used in the SCWPM for this issue! They are presumably a period faking of the overprints, in 1941 or after (judging by the signatures) so the note could be used in Nationalist controlled areas. The genuine ones have the c1938 signatures. Thought it was interesting anyway. The catalog image:

Here's one I bought recently. The last issue of the Provincial Bank of Ireland with all of the bank's branches listed.

Hey all!! I know I've been gone for a while but rare Portuguese notes don't grow on trees or on ebay, while looking at another Portuguese note that popped up on my saved search, a note that I wasn't looking for or even on numista popped up. Price was reasonable but I offered about 15% less and we agreed on 10% below asking. Hopefully coming soon. I'll post pictures.
