I am not really into South American(for, most of them lack in value... well, on the average) except maybe Colombian(they ARE one of the more colorful, and pretty notes), but nice. I also have those Honduran notes, but they don't sell for that much... Oh well... The European notes(which I am after most of the times), pictured here are nice... Great buy...

Net-steals, Collecting is an individual thing so one collects what one likes and enjoys. South American notes may not always approach the the stratosphere of $$ but they can help with my type note collecting. However, this note from Brazil, P-114a is rather nice: == ==

In the last couple weeks I have looked through this thread twice, and I am seeing some very interesting notes. So ... I started picking some up to add to my collection. I have not purchased a World paper money guide yet. So there might be a couple I am not sure what they are. I know these Mexico Peso's $1.00 1970 $5.00 1972 $10.00 1969

GR58... With all your collections I'm continually amazed that you have any room left in your house. And now ANOTHER?

Recently ...I packed a lot of overflow into boxes and put into storage. I hope I don't forget about the boxes. ----------------------------------------- DO you think the second post I made is Russian note?

GR58, that note is from the first issue of Kyrghizstan in 1993.
Be sure your boxes are in conditioned storage, heat and humidity will kill collectibles.

Well, I don't collect Japanese, so I have pretty much got rid of most of it from my new auction site, well, the coins, for, I didn't really have any Japanese notes(Got lucky that there was a taker, though it was just a penny auction), nothing against your new note though, but those Mexican notes, they are nice. Though I know they don't worth much. As for those small Kyrgyzstan notes(Yeah, they are from Kyrgyzstan, the nation which was part of Soviet Union before they got their independence, which don't really worth anything. You can get them for around a quarter or something per piece), they are really easy to get, most of the times, you can get those in a pack of cheap notes you can buy at a local hobby shop, but well, if you are just starting a banknote collecting, you can start with those... There ARE better valued(though still not much when it comes to values) Kyrgyzstan notes, but enjoy them.

As for my notes ... I am thinking there are not any that have any big value. I just picked them up because they look interesting. And I just want to have a little of everything in my collection. ---------------------------------- This next on, I think is 1928 5 Kronur Iceland
