Yup. The Denver mint always made more Ikes, except in 1976.

Guessing everyone knows the heavier-stronger-deeper strikes
were in the latter years

1971 and 1972 seem weak(er).

In my first bag I found a "stamped" 1974 ~~ Has no value, buy I just can't part with it

There was a steep learning curve for the mint those first couple of years, trying to strike up large clad coins.

Got this today. Bought off ebay from another member. Found out after sale they were a member of CCF and lived only 2 hours from me.

This one seems to be have a DDR will post close-ups in another thread...check it out.

Even with the marks on obverse (which you cant hardly see with naked eye) it is an upgrade to the ones I have for this year still in OGP.

Nice. I see a 1976 Type 1 Ike in there.

Here's my Blue 71 Ike. Still in the mint wrapper. I've included the little flyer that came with the coin. Hope you enjoy!

None of my silver ones were purchased in the original packaging. I need to get one so I can have one of the tokens they came with.

Yup...that's a good excuse to get another silver Ike!

Here's my latest haul. I stumbled upon this BIN listing for 34 Ike dollars in mint cellos. Here's the link:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/17261118582...RK:MEBIDX:IT

So, with shipping included it came to $1.91 per coin- not bad for mint cello Ikes. I didn't know exactly which dates/mms were included, but I didn't want to know. Even if they had all been, say 1977, it still would have been worth it to me. I could see that there was at least one 1973. I just wanted to be surprised, and I was when I discovered that there were 6 1973 dates. They could have been 1976 T2s.

Here is the breakdown of the lot:

1973 x 2
1973-D x 4
1974 x 6
1974-D x 4
1976 T1 x 2
1976 T2 x 2
1976-D T1 x1
1976-D T2 x 2
1977 x 2
1977-D x 3
1978 x 2
1978-D x4
