Darth Morgan Pillar of the Community United States 2815 Posts	Posted 08/27/2018 10:41 pm I received a new Ike in the mail today- my first MS68 silver business: 1972-S. Boy oh boy, am I happy with this latest upgrade. It is far and away MUCH better than my 67. The difference is striking. Lots of photos for this one 'cause I'm excited about it. Side by side comparison in the same shot: Side by side comparison in separate shots under identical lighting conditions. Here, you can see that the strike quality of the 68 is far superior. It has to be a fresh die strike. It has that glossy, SMS proof-like appearance, very much UNLIKE the 67. One more extreme angle showing the PL quality: It's pretty much the same with the reverse: Oh, and I have a 1974-S (PCGS MS68) upgrade on the way from Heritage. It appears to have lots of satiny frost throughout. That's what the TrueView indicates anyway. I'm hoping it will be just as nice as my new 72-S. Stay tuned.... You don't often find these silver business issues with TrueViews, so I really wanted it for my registry set. Of course, it also helped that it was a 68 too. Here is the link to the ebay auction.
