$100 in dimes and I got nothing.

After you fill out your set are there any doubles besides a silver that is worth saving?

I rarely sort dimes but I did pick up a box to fill out a new Dansco album that I purchased. Here are my results.

Box # 2

Well....been 2 weeks since my last search. Did $200 in dimes today and found...Get This.....12 silver! Wow! 11 x 1967 and 1 x 1963. I only count on the 67s being %50, I dont have a test kit to tell if they are %80, but wholly! My best box before today was 6. I'm a happy guy today. :-)

Last week, when looking for new banks, I ended up in a small town in the hills. It had 4 or 5 banks, which was nice. I even asked a gas station clerk if she had old coins. She admitted that she keeps them.

I then went to a bank and the teller had two 90% dimes in her tray. I asked if I could have them, and she gladly gave them to me. Apparently, she had held them for a customer who never came. I also got a 40% half there. Not bad for a small town!
