Monday my day off I picked up $1100 in hr from two of my branches. The first $600 gave up 1 rosie, the $500 from the other branch gave up 6 rosies and 2 silver Canadians, '63 and '68. In the total, I pulled about 50 slug Canadians, which I seperate 'cause the counter spits 'em out anyways. Those I roll, and spend at the drive-thru. Last year my largest order was 12 boxes, all String and son, my favorites. I think I pulled close to 30 silvers, including 6 Barbers.

Went through $40 but didn't find anything (didn't expect to with that small amount though). Just curious about how many boxes you have to go through on average to find silver. I have heard that there is less silver to be found in dimes than other denominations, and I have yet to find a pre-1965, but hoping to find one soon.

Woman in my office brought in about a half gallon of change today and said I could look through it. Found a 59p dime, 5 wheat cents and a 39p nickel. One of the wheats was a 1917p. She said she didn't care about the dime so I got it for 10 cents.

We found a '46 Roosevelt today in one of five rolls. It was very worn, but still nice for my son to fill the first hole in his Roosevelt collection.

Rollseeker, I've been searching dimes for the last two years, and my average is roughly 1 silver per $150 searched, be it boxes or hand-rolled. I avoid the clear-wrapped Brinks, others have luck with them. I don't. I've searched well over $50,000 in dimes.

Eh, it's free listings right now - if it doesn't sell it doesn't cost me anything :)
Nice job on the merc, Americanmafia, what year?
