An MS-65 or better Quarter date/MM run from 1793 - present, complete with ALL proofs / Silver proofs and Varieties.
im thinking.. 3-4 mil easy? lol

I'd patiently assemble a date set of large cents in near-matching XF condition with problem-free planchets; no varieties but for the major ones. I'd travel to shows, seeking specimens. At times I experienced difficulty finding just the right cents, I'd buy an XF type coin.

I would have a full on type set of every US type from 1793 to present in AU/MS condition(including the high relief gold), and I would also have a AU/MS key date collection. I mention AU because there are times that I prefer AU over MS, and even with lots of money I think I'd often go for an AU.

I don't know about the "Old Harleys", since I am a dirm believer in four wheels, and TWO engines. But no arguement on the redheads! I always was a "push-over for a cute, freckled face! AADS kicked in.....
What would I buy, if money was no object?
Two things: First I would go for the best FE/IJHC set around.
Second:
Every "VICKY" variety known! And I would keep looking for any new ones that haven't been found, yet!

This is under US coins.. so to fill that gap it would be Morgan dollars. But if I could collect anything, it would be 8 Reales. To me they represent the closest you can get to honest money. They have rich histories and would be worth the time to study them if I invested any dollars into reales. |

redheads for me as well twincam. but if it had to be coins it would have to be a complete type set of classic commemorative coins. and a high grade barber half set
