I don't think they are worth more than 11X face, do you? I wonder if the free shipping offer on these is out of guilt. But then again the seller may have paid a a nice premium over face on that box and is trying to eek out a small profit, who knows, but I would not give more than 1.5x face for them myself. rastatodd Valued Member United States 487 Posts	Posted 06/12/2010 08:55 am I am a Jefferson nickel collector, and I believe sooner or later the 2009 Jefferson dam will break and there will be "09"'s to be had at face valuable. I've been on the buy high and sell low train before and refuse to hop on board. $28.50 for a roll of $2.00 nickels is a little extreme! If you like to benefit monetarily buy a roll and single them out, but do it quickly before the bubble bursts. The mintage for the 2009 Jefferson nickel is over 86 million nickels that is a lot of nickels! IMHO Report this Post to the Staff
