Inbetween the first and secound L in the word monticello there is something but I cannot tell what it is ? Could someone help me.

Could it be the edge of the head from the other side? I have seen some other die clashes that were only visible in certain spots. Not positive, but a suggestion

An overlay of a 2004 doesn't show where the fields would make contact for the Nickel, but on a 1964 it might fall in that area. So it could be a die clash mark that didn't get polished off. There is evidence of a heavy polishing above the right upper side of the building in the field above the building.
