1963 66
1963 67
so, .

Would it be the two stars around UNA?

See the 6-pointed stars. The actual date is hidden in them. I see "19" on the one before UNA, and looks like ... well, I'l let you.

I noticed that earlier (as in a couple of days ago), but forgot about it when I went to take the pictures.

Now that you have me looking at it a little closer, did they repunch these stars? It has a spread beneath it, but different from the spread of the doubled die pics I took.

1966, by the way.

I thought I saw 66.

There must be a reason they make a minimal change from year to year. If I had to guess I'd say they repunch that little star.

Here's the star. Not sure if it's repunched or retooled, though.

I don't know if this counts or not.

It's listed as KM#23, but minted by the Franklin Mint? As in, the Franklin Mint as seen on TV?

With a mintage of 14K (18-9K), I would imagine this doubling is on every one. Very hard to capture, though. The doubling is on the motto.

Sorry, Franklin Mint doesn't count!

Although the doubling is interesting ... it almost spells a different word!

(Had to edit b/c I don't know how to spell Phruncklin)

Why is it listed as a currency under all the listings I looked at? That's confusing.

But, you know me, I'll leave it up just because it's funny.
