That's a beauty Moe.

I've always enjoyed the image of Mayflower fighting the seas on the reverse of this coin.

Fun fact is that the designer Cyrus E. Dallin included his initials on the original plaster models ... but apparently they were left off the master hub during reduction.

Someone at the Mint appears to have grabbed a letter "D" punch and included Dallin's last name as a letter "D" on hub ... which appears on the coin as an incuse "D" on the obverse under the left elbow of Governor William Bradford.

I can see the incuse "D" on your coin ... that would be a difficult detail to counterfeit.

Great looking coin Moe ... and a wonderful piece of USA coinage history.

I agree with NS that's you have a great looking coin there. I love the way the toning almost gives it the look of a painting with the different shading. PG

I think that's what made this one irresistible to me!

Please forgive me for mis-labeling this coin type: It's actually a 1920 Pilgrim Tercentenary. (Man! That's a mouth-full!)

Indeed Moe ... how about the full name as noted by the authorizing legislation of May 12, 1920 ... Pilgrim Tercentenary Celebration Half Dollar.

Net mintage of your lovely 1920 Pilgrim is 152,112 coins ... compare that figure to the 1909-S VDB LWC and tell me which is rarer. I know ... supply and demand.

Multiple looks at your Pilgrim lead me to agree with PG ... the lightly circulated toning serves this example very well ... yours is a coin that any of us would be proud to hold in hand and call our own.

Moe, yes I agree with the comments about the toning making it look like a painting.
The Pilgram is one of the Commemorative Half Dollars that is on my list too.
I only hope to find one as nice looking as this one.
Congrats on the find.
