Of course, if you really do want to buy a 1927 florin do a search on ebay and find plenty at a reasonable price. This seller has some listed in the range of $25 to $40 and you would probably pick one up for less than that if you are patient. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1927-Silver...em3a6a804012It is a lovely design. maybe I have jumped the gun, or this is the standard reply to complaints?
We refer to your 'Report item not received' dispute case regarding your seller mez050.
Your seller has updated stating they have now sent a replacement item. We have also requested your seller to advise the date and method of postage they used, so we may inform you also.
Kindly confirm receipt of your replacement item in due course, when applicable.
If you have not received your replacement item within 7 working days, please update your case file so we may follow up with your seller accordingly.
if this is true then I will owe this guy an apology, which I will gladly do if I have made the mistake. but 8 days after payment made it still sounds suss to me.

Its a bit sly to go on about the existence of only 10 pattern coins and then at the very end say it is a trick coin. I think a lot of people don't read full listings. Surely anyone with any knowledge of coins would know about this coin. At least is isn't asking for $100+ or something ridiculous.

ok so is a 1935 penny, fine or a bit better a special coin? or a 1946 half penny special? the 50c isn't incuse, just a normal circulated coin. left rating to express that and also sent him and the site an email stating what happened. I dont expect it will help in any way but it might warn others not to deal with mez50. i just hope the silver I brought from the same site doesn't show up as lead sinkers.

Here's another. http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-AUSTRALIA...em3a71346c2a"...coins from a deceased estate, pennies are unchecked...... My late father was an avid collector, these pennies are taken at random from a very large collection of pennies..." Oh yeah, pull the other one. [Check his other listings -completeds too. Varieties, errors, die cracks, scarce mint marks/patterns etc.] He should be grateful to his dear, departed father for what some are fetching. Jeff PS. Rereading, I may have been a tad severe. I am sure the "unsorted" coins have been very well sorted by deceased father. But, that said, this could be a good place to pick up some nice pennies and halfs.
