For a great solution to this problem, just win the lottery and buy a house big enough to have a separate room for coins.
Or buy a second house just for coins in every room. Then you could have a specific table for each type of coin. And too a separate room for each type of coin.
If you did win the lottery or inherit a large sum of money, you could just hire someone to sort through coins for you.
Or with enough money you could just buy the coins you want and not have to search anything, anywhere, ever.
Therefore the obvious answer to this is just get rich.

We use the kitchen table - it's large and can accomodate the laptop and coins.

Buy a bank building. I've kicked myself over not doing exactly that.

I use the floor of my den most of the time. But - I'm going to build a built-in desk unit about 10 feet long along one wall in there this spring which will become my coin/work area. I've used the kitchen table, but I get the stink eye from my wife when I do.

Our kitchen table is quite large with lots of space. At I night I sit there with a laptop. The cabinets too are large enough to keep my books there.

I have a dedicated space, but I've allowed access to other family members, and am now crowded out. We have adult kids who store stuff at our place, and my husband repairs computers and has a huge amount of computer related junk-00ps, sorry, Stuff.

It is nice to be able to shut the door on the whole uproar when interruptions occur. But every surface is covered with stuff, so keeping order is all but impossible. Boo hoo. Poor me!

I have a TV on my kitchen table.
And a laptop.
And I use it to examine coins.
Oh, just occasionally I also use the table to eat something.

I use the coffee table, but not for coins in flips. I have ferrets and they've been known to steal them.

I use the floor in the computer room BUT the granddaughter has learned to walk today so I'm having to move everything from the floor and make it child proof.

I'm one of the lucky ones. I have 4 desks, an unused dining table and a rarely used pool table that I can use for sorting my coins. Now all I need are some coins to sort.

We have a kitchen island that I take over once in a while. I put down an old white sheet and I have several tupper ware bowls that I picked up at the dollar store. Each of them has something written on them for my sorting, 30's, 40's, canadians, etc.

I have some world coins on order to look through then send for the CCF's Second Annual "Get the Kids Hooked" Drive

I will probably use my computer chair sometimes, and probably bring some to work to check when I am free (don't tell anyone that last part)

The custom cabinets are pretty expensive as they are high end and are constructed as per designer specifications with any chose style and right finish. The option of semi-custom cabinets comes with endless solutions for your storage needs. Thus regardless of the option of kitchen cabinet design you choose, you are certainly giving a new feel and look to your kitchen.
