How is the packaging? Is it encapsulated by RCM? Does anyone know how fast they ship? I may have to order some online.

there is no packaging, it comes in tube and monsterbox just like the bullion maple leaf, it's sold in europe at bullion price. I guess it's their way to promote silver maple leaf collecting in europe so don't expect too much. since all coins are stacked in tube, there are bag marks on queen's face

Thanks. Now I see why the price is fluctuating. Presently the web lists it as $42.95. I just placed an order online minutes ago. Hopefully they will response soon.

I myself have never seen the alure of having a silver maple with a privy mark. I mean 99% of the coin looks the same as the regular one. That being said, I do have a couple of them. One of them, the F15, is a reverse proof so it looks different.
but I ask...
Why do people in general like privy marks?

because people want to see something different, they want change, even the change is little. that's why silver panda and Kookaburra are so popular

Jpaiva83, can you tell me if the reverse proof finish on the F15 looks similar to the finish on the 2010 piedfort silver maple leaf? From some pictures online, it looks like the f15 finish has a rougher texture.

That's my point, the Kookaburra & Koala coins change every year. They all look completely different. If I could afford it, I would have ordered this a long time ago. http://www.talismancoins.com/servle...tail?no=1395Imagine the same thing but with 23/24 years of exactly the same maples. Snooze. . . . . (OK I admit having a display box with 24 maples from 1988 to 2012 would look nice. My point was that the Aussie coins would look nicer still as each coin would be unique.)

@Mrpiedfort, if memory serves me correctly, I would have to say yes. I will check when I get a chance and get back to you.

the panda used a same design for consecutive 2 years and resumed to changing it. I guess the customers complained or something else.

Thanks Jpaiva83, limit per household is 3 so I ordered 3 about a week ago. But someone mentioned that the reverse proof finish didn't look nice on the latest F15 so I thought maybe I should just order one first and then decide.

the F15 reverse proof is the same as the 2010 piedfort, are these 2 the only reverse proof RCM ever made? all the other privy maple leafs are satin finish. F15 reverse proof finish does appear rougher than piedford's but still a beauty in my eyes. imagine a leaf on white sand

SilverBug and Jpaiva, thanks so much. This forum is awesome! I've made up my mind, I'm gonna keep those 3 orders. I'm only interested in the F15 SML so I will cancel my subscriptions after I receive them.

I like the idea, SilverBug. Where I can find a complete list of all SML with privy marks? There are quite a few under J&M's online catalog.
