This is a daunting problem, but if this forum could enable the Symbol font, and its character set--that might be an easy fix.

There are a few annoying features with the text on here, if you type 'R' it corrects to 'are' ( , no idea why you would want this feature) and if you use the normally accepted square '[]' brackets to signify missing letters it can confuse it with a command. For non-forum use I found this: http://www.dirtyoldcoins.com/Roman-Coins.htmlSymbolus II TrueType font, I've never been able to get it installed properly though, it never appears as an option in my drop-down menu.

I found a way to skirt around the delta , gamma problem.
Normally it appears like this: SMHᴦ, SMH∆
If you increase font size of the gamma and delta you can get this: SMKᴦ, SMK∆
Edit: Looks like they appear on the post. It's a bit cumbersome so I'm going to see if there is a way to simplify it.

Quote: I've never been able to get it installed properly though, it never appears as an option in my drop-down menu. Bobby, I was able to download that font and it works in my MS Word. Maybe your computer does not properly download the file? While making my website I am using greek characters. The Symbolous II font has *almost* all the symbols I need, but they are not able to be used in an HTML format (just in Word). Obviously I can not create new HTML code, so what should I do to enable those symbols to appear on my site? Save them as pictures and add them that way? Seems like that would be difficult and time-consuming...

OK, I'll see if I can get you there. 1. Open windows character map and set the Character Set box to 'Unicode' and the Group by box to 'All'. 2.Scoll down a little past half way to find the 'small capital gamma sign ( ᴦ),(don't confuse it with the Cryllic small Ghe which is only about a third the way down), then click on the gamma symbol, select it and it appears in the Characters to Copy box. 3. Scroll down to almost the bottom to find the 2206 increment symbol (∆),(it looks just like the delta) select it, add it to the Characters to Copy box. 4. I also put the rest of the Greek characters that aren't like Roman letters in the Characters to Copy box (ᴦ∆ΘΛΞΠΣΦΨΩ). You can highlight them individually and copy from there to paste then into your post. 5. I pinned the windows character map to my task bar and left the Greek characters in the Copy box so it's easy to bring up when needed. Note: You can also drag either the small gamma or the Delta/increments symbols into the post from where they are, but they are a little hard to find, but not bad once you know where they are. Let me know if you get it from what I explained. ∆oucet

I've had occasional problems with yen, pound and yurro signs, kinda silly on a coin site.

Just a test: " Γ Gamma; #x393; Capital Gamma
γ γ gamma; #x3B3; Lowercase Gamma
" Δ Delta; #x394; Capital Delta
δ δ delta; #x3B4; Lowercase Delta The symbols all show up in paste. Capital delta and gamma symbols do not show up in preview, but the codes show up as symbols. Here are the codes I used, remove the space after the &: " & Gamma; & Gamma; & #x393; Capital Gamma
γ & gamma; & gamma; & #x3B3; Lowercase Gamma
" & Delta; & Delta; & #x394; Capital Delta
δ & delta; & delta; & #x3B4; Lowercase Delta More symbols: http://webdesign.about.com/od/local...codes-gr.htm

@bobbyhelmet and all
Does anyone have the Symbolus II font and is willing to share? The link on dirtyoldcoins has gone dead. Thanks, Claudiu

@CC, looks like you have reanimated an old thread. A better place to post this question would be on the support forum. @bobby hangs out there and should be able to answer your question about fonts. http://goccf.com/f/20I do note that relatively recently the ability to use Greek, German, and other letters was added to CCF. You need to use the "full reply" option and then click on the link "add Greek letters".
