Trout1105 I also noticed this item. I am also getting a little frustrated trying to find one - and that is a nice one! Congrats on your purchase.

Just got an email from the seller. this is it Dear pommystockman, Hi Jim, I thought I would let you know you did OK in buying the coin. I was contacted by a buyer that was interested in the coin and said that something messed up on ebay in the last few seconds of Bidding and lost out on a final bid, which he was willing to pay up to $65 for the coin. So I don't think you did to bad, as he was willing to pay more than $30 for it. I hope you will be pleased with it. Kind Regards Someone tried to out bid me after the auction had ended on my coin It is unfortunate for that person that I had been in touch with the seller days prior to the end of the listing and offer a good sum for the coin as buy it now A bit Norty of the other buyer ay Anyway I have bought from this seller before and have a good relationship , so if you are the culprit reading this

I bought one last year also. I don't really collect 50c and when I saw it I thought about it and then paid $35 for it. I thought I was crazy at the time (still do really!) but it is in a folder and I enjoy looking at it when I do so I suppose it paid for itself :-)

You did very well for getting one in that grade at that price. My guess is that it fell short of a lot of buyers radar because of the mispelling "incursed" when it should have read incused.

Geez trout, that sellers pics made it look way better than that, are you sure it's the right coin ? any small marks in the sellers pics that you can correspond with the coin in hand ? My bet is you are pretty disappointed as I would be if I received that coin,it looked way way better than that in his listing.

Wow that's a big difference mate. Unlucky. Still you have one and it is still in OK condition. Another testament to being carefully forking out too much on ebay.

If that was a banknote, you'd know for certain if they've sent the one in the pic from the serials, but with that coin it's almost a stretch of the imagination to think that's the same coin without any photoshopping...
