$600 that you paid I'm assuming, and not $600 face value of silver.

$600 paid, face was $25.25 face at spot price of 33.17, so I came out a little under $10.00 ahead

Quote: I realized the time and effort it's going to take to swap better coins with collection. That should be the fun part.

Upgrades are always a nice part of collecting. Glad yours can be upgraded. I always like looking through the junk box. one persons junk is anoughters treasure.

Very nice turn on that lot. Surprisingly it's easy to find higher grade coins in these melt lots

No pictures really worth taking. Nothing is in great condition, just better than what I had. The shop I get it from is great. Everything is up to the minute spot price. Even when I grab Silver Eagles they charge spot. I have no idea how they actually turn a profit.

Congrats on the upgrades and on getting a great deal. The coin dealer I usually go to lets me spend hours sifting through his junk silver and gold coins and once in a while my persistence pays off. I recently picked up an 1843-O large date quarter eagle that's easily worth double the melt price he charged me.

I got 3 nice commems that were in the "junk" pile. In fact, I added one to my 7070.

A Booker T. that I didn't have and a Columbian that has a great tone. I had a better grade Columbian but I like the "junk" one better. The third was the modern (1993) James Madison. I picked all 3 up for their spot value and put them directly into my 7070. I forgot how much fun this hobby could be!
