I have a couple that I found I think they are neat and I would love to complete the set, but I wouldn't do it unlessit was reasonably cheap

Bruce,

Yes it goes on every weekend. This past weekend was my first visit, so I am not sure if the same people are out there every weekend or not. There were a LOT of vendors. Cool flea market worth going to. One coin dealer out there with a lot of stuff.

Are you going to the Mesa coin show this weekend ? I am fairly new (2 years) to collecting and would like to hook up with other collectors in the area. Also thinking of hitting the Mesa Coin Club meeting on the 7th.....ever been ?

Let me know.....

Carl,
I am sorry you are right, there are some places in Illinois that I have never heard of also. The city of Mesa is in the great state of Arizona.

Believe it or not I collect this junk. I rarely pay more than a few cents for them at most but will stretch a little for ones I need.

It probably isn't a "good idea" to collect them since they will be very easily counterfeited or restruck indefinitely. It's fun for a lark but is probably not good numismatic material. You never know when you'll learn something new though.
Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps.
