Just that there is no relief at all on the left side of your coin, as though it was never stamped, but I am no expert.

Just trying to throw in my 2 cents worth...

why is it always that part of the R that falls off, or whatever happens to it ?

It is because the hub (Positive) broke off that area on the hub, the dies (Which are negatives) will show that area missing because the hub was lacking in that area. On the 1956 Cents part of the hub broke off on the bottom of the 6. So you see several dies showing this area lacking. So varieties and some normal coins.

Yes, but there we many like that, so it is common unless it is a variety coin. But we would need to see more of the coin to see what it is?
