Dip it? All Lincoln had to do was look at the bottle and that verdigris jumped right off him! Lol.

Looks like you saved it! Take a picture using the same conditions/lighting as you first picture. I might use them if you don't mind.

Conservation. Cleaning is a harsh process that results in a coin that would be rejected by collectors. Once he gets better pictures, I'll bet you'd take this coin.

The obverse from what I could tell might be an XF40. If there is good separation between cheek and jaw, the ear is complete with slight wear behind it.

The reverse looks to me to be a VF20-30.

I would grade it a VF35.

Wish the pics were clearer. I would suggest using PCGS's photograde on their web site and if you have a tablet like an IPad its a free application.

Much better after picture other than it should be 600x600 like the before picture.
