What do people make of "paypal is for overseas buyers only" and "if using paypal expect lengthly delays"? Does he mean only people overseas can use paypals and any Aussie needs to use bank transfer or that if from overseas you must use paypal? Paypal should allow the funds to appear immediately for him. When people pay me using paypal it means I can ship it the next day. Bank transfer takes a few days normally so its odd paypal will result in delays. Sounds like a to me!

Quote: "paypal is for overseas buyers only" I think that is against ebay rules. If buyer uses PayPal and postage is unduly delayed then that would be a good way to get poor star rating. This seller actually has a good star rating so maybe this is just a sales ploy. Jeff

The only thing wrong with paypal are the fees associated with using it. Other than that I recon it is great, easy fast and secure

Paypal is fantastic for buyers but pretty crap for sellers as they're the ones who bare the brunt of the fees and crazy return policies.

If you go to this sellers feedback page and click on "items for sale" nothing comes up in the search. This could be a hacked account

I used PayPal and I had no problems, he also marked it as posted within a few hours and left happy feedback for me. I don't see a problem with the seller, hoping the coin arrives quickly.
I think the writing is just to get people to use bank deposit. But I always PayPal people who I have never bought from before, then if there good I normally bank deposit for them.
I hate PayPal sooo much; they closed my account because I didn't provide a copy of my passport huh? I had an account with them for year and when I had $200 sitting in my account they struck -- they didn't get my money because I'm smart but never again. I now am a merchant with Paymate and they look after me pretty good and there Aussie YAY.

p.s the link to the item goes through the US ebay page you have to make it AU page, to see item his selling as he is only selling in AU ;) you just change the http://www.ebay.com to >>> .com.au just add a ". au" in the top of browser part and it changes the search to the right page.

Cheaper than this one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/AUSTRALIA-2..._2430wt_1163It may be genuine but I'd have to weigh it and look closer to be more certain. As far as that seller goes, I know of someone who specifically made a purchase off said seller to use Paypal, we'll see if the item turns up!!

Wow $3,000, what price should you be aiming for? The wording says one sold at auction for $1,500 And the first seller said one sold for $1,300 Hehe just had a look at the quicksales page of ened items and he said he ended item Reason: NO BIDS, VERY LITTLE TRAFFIC! Aww maybe he's closing his account and putting everything on ebay. Bargains for me ♥ Pity I couldn't see the original asking price, I was only watching the threepences and florins.

As of about 18 months ago you could still buy one of these over the counter from IS Wright in Melbourne for $350. I think they had a part roll of them.
