Just took it to a shop, they said that it looked like something hot touched it and it melted. I'm going to hang on to it though, a fun coin.

My guess is impact. What would be so small and so hot as to melt just that little bit? Soldering irons don't get anywhere near hot enough to melt copper.

Yea, and melting wouldnt cause it to fold back onto itself

No, Its just the inside layer that you see. There is no hole. Sorry, should've taken a better picture

You're not seeing any "inside layer." if it were the inside of the coin it would be copper in color. What you have is a coin with solder on it.
