Nice coins Eng. Good detail. I also got a new one a couple of weeks ago. It's a RIC 179, Stag walking left. The Obverse is in poor shape but the reverse is pretty good.

Haha, funny Steve.
All those are pretty nice coins. I went looking around for these coins with the intent of eventually purchasing one. The most common seems to be the antelope or the stag.

Gee if I lived back then, I'd probably be a slave. I think I have a set to collect.

"Am I the only one who considers the previous owners of our coins a factor worth considering?" Every person is facinating, no matter who they are of what they done, good or bad.

Quote: Every person is facinating, no matter who they are of what they done, good or bad I try to image who once may have held a coin I own. Of course I fantasize that the people were good and honorable, but the chances are they were just people like you and I. Trying to get by everyday. But, hey, one can have an imagination, eh?

Interesting. I haven't seen many of these for sale. Why did you sell it?

Hello jwharper, Yes, a rarely seen type for sale, so I sold it. Naturally it had a lot of interest within 12 hours of being listed, and sold within that time. I doubt I will come across such an example or have such a quick sale again. At least with the money I was able buy more coins. "com ce com ca"...
