Ok. Say Dansco doesn't offer the album you want. Between these 2, Whitman and Harris (US Mint album), IYO, which offers the best album, for appearance, display and protection? Thanks.

We only sell Dansco albums in the shop. The Whitman Classic and other stuff just doesn't sell and the quality is notably less than Dansco. Steve email or PM me about the Dansco album you want that you can't find...I'll try to help if I can. The answer to your question I guess would be Whitman Classic as a second best product, imho. tradernick

Oh and I should also note that we still sell the blue Whitman folders, of course.

Here are questions about the Dansco Album for Presidential dollars. 1. I assume the album comes with a space for proofs, right? 2. I heard that Dansco was waiting to produce an album which would also have space for silver proofs, if that coin is approved by Congress. Is that correct? What do you think the odds are that such a coin would be approved? I'd like to buy an album now, but am still wondering about the above questions.

I have had State Quarters in an Intercept and a Dansco both with slipcovers. Some of my older quarters are showing some tarnish in the Dansco but not in the Intercept. I believe that Intercept uses 3-M anticorrosion sheets. I use the 3-M sheets in some boxed collections also and They seem to work very well.

Gary, according to Brent-Kueger site they will have the Dansco Presidential dollar Series with Proofs in a two vol. and will be available mid-late April. Littleton, has the Presidential dollar Album P & D issue and S-mint album separately or both together. Hope this helps.:)

This is on the Tradewinds site for the president Danscos. Presidential dollar Date Set --------------- Released Space for one coin per President Presidential P&D Set ------------ Released Space for two coins per President (Philadelphia and Denver Mints) Presidential Proof Albums Production on this release has been postponed Dansco is waiting to see if Congress decides to make the Silver Presidential dollarMost likely a two volume set - Note: Dansco is increasing their prices, for the first time in 4 years, probably by the end of February. 2-27-07

Ok, seems like Dansco is the preferred choice. Now next questions, who has the best prices on them? Buy direct, dealer or ebay?

I actually had to jump ship on Dansco for my 20th century type set. I instead got the HE Harris US Mint series album. A nice looking archival quality album that will look wonderful when complete. It is "out of print" now so it was tricky trying to locate one.

Djluster, thanks for the info. After checking in a couple places, Brent Krueger has better prices in Dansco than JPS corner also found some decent prices in some ebay stores with Buy It Now pricing.

My vote is for the Dansco albums ... I think they look professional and present the coins in a beautiful layout. Also, I like the flexibility to decide if I want the album to have proofs or not. I am currently in the process of getting some new albums myself -- I am definitely getting Dansco
