Quote: Could be trying to sell through a friend, maybe. Very possible. Will be interesting to see if this shows up again Surprised this seller is even still allowed to sell. Twice in the same week in july two buyers left feedback saying the seller never sent them their item and wouldnt respond to emails

90% positive feedback...yikes! Maybe acceptable when I was taking tests in high school (every once in awhile), but not on ebay. Quote:Seller dropped off the face of the earth after payment. ebay issued me a refund.

Lol.
Youd really think that would be some kind of ban especially that early in the sellers history. With two no ships in the past maybe he stole the picture from the other listing and was once again selling something he wasnt going to ship

You know, v, I was thinking after your last ebay outing, someone ought to transfer image of these coins to the thread, before they go bye-bye.

Though this coin looks like the other, from what I recall, this is not the same photo.

A lot of differences between the genuine and the fake, that's for sure

No reverse picture. Probably states "copy".

The last one's reverse didn't state "copy." Remember any filed-down areas?

i am not sure if this exists but perhaps a separate category in the community that houses genuine versus fakes every time one is discovered...that way they're all cataloged and can be referenced in the future...this genuine coin to start this thread is a great example

Similar but not the same coin. The tail from the casting is not on this coin, and the fields look a little different. But I would certainly think its from the same cast.
