Someone gave it too him, he knows I collect stuff so he gave it to me. I think it is something that was handed out by the US for something. We will know we what it says comes out. It is not on good banknote paper, so they were cheap to make.

since it was a hotline number I am guessing it was to turn in terrorists and maybe the troops would hand them out to friendly's over there and it may say that there is a 100 dollar reward for doing so and the amount it is worth in their money on the back, probably with the same saying. This is totally a guess but I can see something like this going on over there

I haven't heard from the terp yet but one of my friends who is a special forces soldier said that they handed them out as a bribe to get answers when looking for sadaam and they can call a safe hotline number and be anonymous

I asked a friend of mine who studies Arabic, and he in turn passed it around to his friends. Here was the reply:
"First of all, it is not a good Arabic. You can tell that it was translated from another language to broken Arabic. The literal meaning is: 'Posting a reward is beneficial by providing the information about the terrorist activities. And it is unnecessary to provide your name when you get the reward. Calling: 07701623300 or 513462 or contact the Iraqi police in your area.'"
The second scan wasn't clear enough for anyone to understand unfortunately.

Sorry I didn't get back to y'all I'm moving from Alaska to Georgia but I think my friend didn't make it back from his deployment safely so I won't be able to get a translation but I see someone else came around sorry.

with AldousHxlE .... On the reverse, translation reads: "Helping Maousel ( city's name) to make it safe, as you are badly need for the money and for the loving of your family. And no need to mention your names when acquiring the reward. Contact NUmber 07701623300 or 513462 or call Iraqi Police in your area" Cheers
