It is in very good condition for a Posthumous commemorative for Constantine the Great. Here is a photo of one of mine, wish it were in that condition. Photo does not do justice. I hope I'm right about coin description ?

That is the one of things about ebay and photo enhancement. You never know.

I see nothing to make suspicious. Go for it as long as price is within your budget.

I just bought one a couple of weeks ago. It is not in near the condition of the OP coin, but I only paid $20.51 including the shipping.

The OP coin and Eng's coin are from the same mint, different workshops. Kinda like having the same parents only different mothers .

Nice find, looks real to me as well. That being said, please please please do not pay $200 for one of these until you know more about them. I almost fell into that same trap. ebay prices are not accurate reflections of market value. I collect that series and you have a very nice example from a less common mint. It's beautiful and I would love one just like it for my own collection, but $200 is out of the question. If I paid $50, it would still be more than I think it is really worth, but not so userous that I would pass on the opportunity to fill an empty blank in my collection with a quality specimen.

I am not sure from Eng's unsharp photo what mint it is but it makes no real difference in price here except that there should be a big discount for a coin missing the mintmark (like Bing's). The OP coin is nice except for the missing obverse legend but I don't see it being anywhere close to $200. These are common coins. A nice one could be $50. Price between nice and perfect could be double but if you found one of these for $200 I suspect it was sold by a big deal seller whose filthy rich clientele pump gas from the ground not at the service station. There is a nicer one from Nicomedia slabbed that went for $120 on a $100 estimate which strikes me as top dollar but some people do pay for slabs. http://www.acsearch.info/record.html?id=495245For $200, I'd expect perfect surfaces, perfect legends and nice style. The question is whether you want to break new ground for a first purchase or whether you would rather have a $200 coin for your $200. Its your choice.
