p.s. I don't worry too much about Brown vs Red myself but I know the majority do so I use a rule of thumb of knocking about 25% off but I vary that between 10% and 50% depending on availability.

The picture did look to have some type of corrosion on it.

I agree with others... from pictures this coin appears that it would be MS-60 at best...

Be careful about using the coinscanada.com as a reference for values...

There are often mistakes in the listings on that site...

Their listed values for 1926 uncirculated penny are way out... they start out at $340 for MS-60 which is total mistake...

Canadian Coin News "Trends" lists value in MS-60 at $100 bucks...

If you want this date and are patient about watching on ebay you'll probably be able to buy an MS-60 in an ICCS slip for $65...

take care,

cameron93

I agree with cameron93. Trends for ms60 are $100, ms62 $200, and ms63 $700. the coinsandcanada website only update their prices about once every year. So be careful.

NEVER send a 100% brown cent to ICCS grading if it's an MS coin.

ICCS will seldom give you higher than an ms60 for a totally brown coin.

look at the greenish color around the edges .usually an early sign of corrosion.. Also the wear on some of the high points of his coat.. The Jewels in is crown seem to be worn.... Unless he drops his price under 100.00 I would pass

Zero chance that coin is MS. Do not buy it. You will regret it.
