Tights24 is correct with the ebay venue I think, your 1884o is ms63 maybe 64 on good day, 1890cc is VF20 1897o XF 40 1895O VG8 1903s AG3 1899P MS63 very nice coin except the thick black line on the cheek is distracting and I think keeps it out of ms64 |

 completely with Tights24 on all accounts.. I am by far an expert either, for the 1899, the reverse is stunning but unfortunately theres quite a few distracting bag marks on the face, I'd have to say that it would get a MS-62, possibly a 63.. But I don't know.. You could always wait until you get enough posts and post them for sale individually on here, I'm sure someone would scoop them up, I might be interested in a few... What are you hoping to get for each? For photos... It's really hard to photo coins... I know some people have USB microscope cameras hooked up to there computers... I'm going to get one as soon as I can stop buying coins for a week  ... But in the mean time my Olympus and my wife's Sony point and shoots work okay in macro and super macro if I experiment with the light a bit but if I want really decent photos I go to my mothers and hijack her Nikon something or other. Lol... Sorry I don't know what it is offhand but it works better at least.. If I talk to her tonight I'll ask what it is and post again but I'm sure someone might give you other options by then. What are you using for a camera now? Does it have macro/super macro? And I also find it easier to crop the photos on my computer or phone before using the image optimizer on this site (which works great) it just loads quicker and easier for me if I do... Good luck and great looking Morgan's! Can you post a pic of the right 1903s? Lol, if you can easily enough...  |

The black line on the cheek of the 1899 is actually a reflection. It looks like the luster was smoothed down there from a bag contact.

Your 1884o isn't worth slabbing the holder it is in is sufficient, you have other coins that aren't anywhere close to as good of shape but are worth easily double your 1884o and would be worth getting graded

If the black line on the 1899 is on the holder then it would go to a MS-63, but with the ding on the chin and other marks I don't see it going above a 63... On a great day if the slabbed hit on a scratch ticket that morning or something like that it might get a 64 but IMHO I really don't see it... I agree in passing on sending in the 1884o for slabbing, not worth the cost... I'd buy it raw though if the price was right  , Lol. Maybe a few of the others too... Including the 1899, but again only for the right price, lol. Overall great Morgans , some definitely worth sending in. And ebay would be a good idea, but with the fees for them and PayPal a private sale would bring more of a return.. Like I said if your not in a super rush once you have enough posts you could sell here. Hint hint.. Lol..  |

I may just wait and sell them here Nathan. I think I will still get the 1899 slabbed just to see what they say.
My wife takes the pics with a panasonic loomix. I really don't know how to work it.

O, absolutely, I would still get the 1899 slabbed, I just said personally I wouldn't send the 1884o.
The 1899 is definitely still slab worthy at MS-63 and a great looking Morgan! Just food for thought, lol, but remember that alot of people go by "buy the coin, not the slab".. So even if it got a 64 some people might not want to pay over 63 prices.. But for the price of slabbing I feel your right in having it slabbed either way, even at 63 it's a decent priced Morgan!
Definitely keep us posted when you get them back and let us know what they were graded! And if you do choose to sell here when you have the posts (which you should by the time you get them back, lol) definitely send me a PM when you get them back because I'd definitely be interested in a few.
Actually if you don't send in the 1884o send me a PM as soon as you hit the post limit and I'd definitely be interested!! (I'm not completely sure how the rules work with selling here? I know to post for sale on have to have a # of posts, but I don't know if someone can just offer or show interest on a coin they see that they know is going to be sold... So sorry if this isn't allowed...

Ya, I'll definitely show them when I get them back. What's funny is the 1884 o is already in a slab graded MS 67. The slab is a Numismatic Collectors Company slab though.

But let it be known now in a public nature, the offers for PM's and buying can stop for now. Let's allow the new member settle in here and learn a bit more. Maybe by the time they reach the time and posts needed they will decide to keep them and expand their own collection. |

I've been been flipping alot of coins as a new hobby. I work in the high Arctic for long stretches then home for long stretches. I've found many coins, that for one reason or another I can't bring myself to sell because I like them so much. Some of these aren't even high dollar ones, just pretty. And I like to keep alot of bullion for when the dollar isn't worth anything. And the big guys run out of silver or lies to manipulate the silver market.
