sorry to piggyback off this discussion but I have a semi relevent question. when did canada stop making their quarters and dimes with silver? I have some early 60's canadian dimes and they kind of sound like my silver dimes but I'm green still.

Pre-1967 (to atleast 1930) is 80% silver (with 92.5% being many years earlier. I don't know the date)
1967 is 50% silver
1968 is either 50% silver or nickel, use a magnet to find out

I have not CRH for silver in quite a while. When I did CRH silver here in Sault Ste Marie Canada...I found dimes to be most productive. I did not search silver for long as I found it not very productive in my area. I had much better luck sorting nickels and cents. It is good to see some people are still pulling the silvers. Keep it up.

I live in NH and get about Canadian Nickels per box, but only 2 or 3 dimes for some reason - haven't found a Canadian silver dime yet. I get a ton of pennies though - easily 2 rolls per box.

Silverwolf, do you search every date, or just pull a magnet through the pile?

i dump 1 roll at a time on the table and run a magnet over them, yet the 3 silvers that I did find I picked them out just by looking before the magnet was ran over each pile. I have never searched for errors, I wouldn't even know where to begin.
