Thank you all for the replies!I value your opinions....As you see PCGS "wimped out" as Dave says and gave her XF-45....I"ll tell you it looks better in hand than the pics' show ...AU-50 IMHO....Think I should conider an NGC crossover?..Worst case I would pay for a new edgeview holder...Opinions please......

I don't think a 5-point crossover would offset the "PCGS Premium." It's gorgeous for the grade and would likely fetch top-of-the-market for that grade.

Yep I agree with SsuperDdave! If CAC got this it would green bean no problem IMO, might even be worth a crackout down the line before selling or trading up.

OK,,so I only understand part of what you're suggesting! CAC is a part of PCGS? I plan to keep the coin for the long run , but the holder does look scratched up,, but probablly not to the point of lowering the value any....Leave it,,OR,, back to PCGS ?

Hi babysitr: You have a very nice coin that looks correctly graded. I would not send it back to PCGS for a re-grade. There are products like Slab-Renew that can be used to buff scratches out of slabs.
CAC is is not part of PCGS. CAC applies stickers noting the coin is solid for the grade. Your coin would be a lock for a CAC green sticker as westcoin noted. The eye appeal alone would earn a sticker.

I agree with BH1964. The TPG's are tough on this series. I think XF45 is accurate.
