Absolute fraud. Wish we can get ebay to yank this but, what's he really doing wrong? Can't prove deceiving and can't punish the listing because of character

Nice work Seated

I see nothing about that 77 that screams fake. Granted, not exactly the best pics to tell with. I actually bet the 77 is perfectly fine and worth 400 or so. He shoves it in the wrapper, a FE on the other end and poof, let it roll. If someone wants to bid up based on a stupid description like that, oh well. I have said before, I have no problem with these rolls. Bid on what you see and that is it. I have done it a number of times and not been ripped yet. The coins on the ends were exactly what was advertized and the stuff in the roll was eh.

Having said that, I'd be darned if I would bid on a 77 with just those pics to go by.

I've passed on a lot of unslabbed '77s that might have been super good deals but they're so commonly faked I had to say no. So you put a fake '77 on one end of the roll and a G-4 flying eagle on the other, fill the middle with common date AG coins and you've got the makings of some tidy profits from unwary collectors. Not saying he did this but an unscrupulous person just might.

There are hundreds of these unsearched rolls for sale. How is this one any different?

How long would it take everyone here to bust open that roll if you "found it" at an estate sale? .7 seconds?

Perhaps the seller has coined his own version of the so-called estate sale ... an "e-state" sale?

In effect, his e-state or "embellished state" practices add false details, making the coins more interesting by "inventing" and exaggerating details - the use of old wrappers and added mystery of what's nested within. The buyers are gambling on making a find, a hit, but the odds are stacked against them, akin to what the state lotteries and casinos do. Anyone seen their ads? Personally, I'd rather buy coins than purchase losing chances in these lottery schemes.

Might as well put two 1916 SLQs on the ends of a roll...

If anyone tries to sell that on ebay you are going to be destroyed.
