That is totally reasonable. I would haggle some more to try and lower the $$$ but personally would have no problem paying that price.

Is it me, the lighting or the picture...but why does george look weird on the 1947 coin? He doesn't look right...like the nose and eyes areas? Just me?

I agree that's a good price, just double check if they are graded properly. Although ICCS is the best grading service for Canadian coin in my opinion.

Something seriously wrong with this deal.... The 1948 alone trends at 1800.00 ...I would be very skeptical ...The 47 also looks like a chinese counterfeit.. The ICCS slab could have been compromised... George 's had looks wrong to me

I don't want to throw water on this deal too, but I have to agree that the '47 doesn't look right to me either.
The chin and nose just don't seem right unless, it is just the way the photo was taken.

Guy was selling off his fathers collection...Picked up 2 1991 sets as well. I thought the same when you guys first brought up his nose, but when I seen them in hand, didnt show at all. I have to be in your area this evening Art if you want a peek.
