I also agree that paticular seller is extremely overpriced on all the items they sell. as long as your happy with the purchase thats what matters.

Well Thanks to all who replied. I found the information most useful. I kind of figured I paid more than I should have, but you know what; I got em now. I didn't know that the 1908-1998 coin was silver. So that makes it a little better. Hey you can't take it with you, so until I see a Brinks Truck follow a Funeral Hearse. I'm not going to take it with me.

If you are interested, their is an antiqued version of that same coin. Do an ebay search for 1908-1998 and you should be able to find the set for about $80. I bought one about a year ago for the penny and quarter. I was able to sell the other 3 coins from the set for about $50.

The 2008 commemorative cent is not silver .. it's bronze, just like the originals I think.

copper plated silver. i dont want to cast a dark cloud over your coins, I've been guilty of getting caught up with something I like and have over paid for coins before. as others have said, if you like them and can afford it then that is what matters, but... i sell on ebay so I am not a fan of refunding people just for changing their mind, but in this case I would ask to send it back for a refund and pick up a buy-it-now version for $30. the album is missing all of the key and semi-key dates. I would be tempted to return that also. you paid double on that as well.

Honestly, I've over-paid for coins. Honestly again, I don't really mind, because I am pleased with my coins and I really enjoy looking at them. Sure, sometimes I want to give myself a little kick in the butt and scream, "D'Oh!", but no regrets.

I highly doubt that the seller of that penny would allow that. I've been blocked by them for making a fair best offer on a token that he/she had priced 25 times it's value.

I was quite surprise that the penny started at 99 cents. Usually she/he starts at high price.

hmmm I won't give em bad feedback so I won't give em none at all I believe. Thank you all....still happy I got the coins and not going to cry over spilt milk. I have made many good buys so I think I'm still ahead of the game. But in my defense I had em at a good price until someone who must have been new kept bidding So I jacked up my bid and damm they kept bidding. Hey it goes that way sometime! Life is too short to be unhappy. Live and learn I always say.

Well Middross I did take your advice and bought the antiqued version as well as the regular version. I bought both for 72.50 each and 4.00 shipping each; can't wait to get them.

Did you buy both complete sets or just the pennies?
