The post office ship date is April 9 and I think the mint says april 15. Either way buyers have 45 days to request a refund before the auction expires. After 45 days you cant file a claim and you can't leave a feed back, but as long as you can provide a tracking number within that 45 days your ok.

I just offer a refund before the 45 day limit most times the person will keep waiting if you have good feedback this coming from my experience selling dino#1 I had about 25 presales and not one asked for a refund and they all got their coins after the delays months later.

the 1/4 oz. war of 1812 gold bullion coin is a RCM produced product exclusively for goldline in the us. This coin in my opinion is same as the proof version but some members diagree.

I read this whole thread, and I just wanted to correct dooby about the 1/4 gold, but John beat me to it.

I don't beleive anyone should be selling presales of a coin that hasn't been announced. But I have nothing wrong with presales, once the image is shared with MC members. IMO
But I think it's a new trend, until the mint cracks down anyway. I'll have to do it to if the mint doesn't care.

I was not aware of that. That's actually even worse than my scenario. The mint just cut my own throat. I can't imaging buying gold coins from them if this is their business practice. But that's for another thread and apparently already discussed.

Angus is legit business scamming people: they sell bullion moose as some "majestic moose 2012" in their DIY set (which is coincidentally very similar to 2004 Majestic Moose set)

People should bombard him with this...

^ I was looking to post my Majestic moose with stamp and box and saw Angus coin's scam "Majestic moose" with 2012 Bullion Moose and a regular stamp. If he was really legit, he shouldn't be selling imitation sets like that just like the shopping channel.
Rest in Peace

Angus coin shop is located near Barrie Ontario. I have not been there but I've called them for prices and have researched them through the better business bureau. According to the BBB, they have not been upfront with there business dealings. They seem very overpriced and even more shady based on some of the stories I've read while looking into them. I wouldn't be concerned with any legal claims they make.

He left a negative feedback on my friends ebay account as payback for a negative feedback my friend left for another seller. Totally false and comments. Then he sent an email that if my friend withdrew his feed back hew would withdraw his also. I would block this guy right away. This is all documented, just check the feed back he left and the feed back that user left for others. ebay user phea9893 & angus_coin_shop are buddies.

Sounds like Angus Coin shop guy is frustrated with small coin dealers getting squeezed out of this business by hobby flippers. I don't know why Angus Coin Shop doesn't get a website like most professional coin dealers. I can't imagine it is easy making profits as a dealer if you solely rely on ebay. Especially when you have competition from hobby flippers who don't have to buy non-popular coins, nor do they have to wait until the coin is released to start sales.

I can see his frustration when you have hobby flipper jumping the gun and getting some quick sales. Not only does Angus guy have to wait for the release to sell his very limited supply of popular coins, he has to sell other non-popular coins on ebay. He should get a website.
