Anyways, I really enjoyed the diversity of opinions about both the grade and the grading services. Lowest grade was AU58, highest MS64, and there were even suggestions of a details grade. Most folks predicted ICG graded higher than NGC, but a few went the other way. If you saw this coin in hand, you would note the booming luster, and probably predict a mint state grade (as did I when I bought it). There are a couple tiny luster breaks obverse, and the dark toning spot reverse, but otherwise impressively clean of wear, marks, and ticks. ICG had it graded MS-64, but I'm happy because I bought it for under the NGC grade of... Report this Post to the Staff
