Rarest wheat I've found would have to be the 1924-S wheat I found last year from a few loose rolls of pennies. Probably one of my best penny finds so far.

Found 1926-S a few weeks back that was in a box I was searching. Looks like it had been recently dug up because there was dirt crusted all over it.

Great jobs, guys.
I've been searching hundreds of boxes since last time I posted but no luck for any rare mintage ones, not even 32, 38D, or 39s.

jmkendall,

I know of a coin store that keeps bags of unsearched wheat pennies.

What state are you in?
