One reason to revive the thread would be to add some additional eye candy - anyone have other recent QE pick ups to share? [/URL] ET

Well, I suppose I can contribute. Though I don't own any quarters, halves, eagles, doubles, my step-father does. Here's one from his collection: Maybe I'll buy it from him when I get the money! I really want a pre-33 gold.

Here is one I bought of e-bay I was also trying to win one in the G-4, but I was outbid at the last monument. I like them because they look old and most collectors don't buy these in lower grades.

I like the color of the '66-S and the '57-S is well-worn, but a nice one indeed. Ah the stories it could tell. Here's the '43-C Small Date's sister - ET

This is my oldest $2.5 gold piece - 1854. This was given to me by grandmother in the early 1980's.

Here's the bookend to the '38-C. Sorry, my pics... haven't had a chance to have this one imaged by someone with much better photography skills than I. PCGS XF-45 OGH/Gold CAC ET

I love the strike on the Charlotte and Dahlonega coins. So mushy they almost look like play doh.
