Thanks everyone.
FadeToBlack: I don't have any date or mint mark preference. Anything from 1866 to 1873 will be fine. I would prefer something with a little damage that has VF details but goes for VG pricing due to the damage.

that last Seated dollar was one of the ones I was lacking as well, for some reason I always saw one I liked right after I had just made a Morgan dollar purchase and depleted my funds

Bryan, I've seen your 7070 before and marveled at the beauty of all those coins. Very impressive, and yes that last Seated dollar is a challenge - but why no Capped Bust dime? I never could figure that out. Compared to all the other amazing coins in your 7070, including a COMPLETE gold page, it seems that a Capped Bust dime would be lunch money. There must be a good story here!

Bryan, no disrespect intended on that last post. Your 7070 is AWESOME and inspired me. I had a tougher time with the Capped Bust Half Dime than the dime, so I was curious. I know I dine on the table scraps compared to what you have, and maybe the dime is just tougher in high grades, but I thought there might be a good story!

Larsdog ... Now you got me wondering. After reading your last two post, I grabbed my 7070 to see what my capped bust dime was like.
I think my bust dime is the lowest grade coin I have in my set. I don't think I have ever seen a nice grade capped bust dime for what I thought was a good deal/price.
Edit: not sure if I got my question in ... Are capped bust dimes hard to find in higher grade good eye appeal coins?

GR58 - you may have hit the nail on the head. Capped bust dimes are EASY for a bottom-feeder like me compared to the Capped Bust Half Dimes, but it seems that at higher grades it flips. There are LOTS of low grade capped bust dimes but few low grade Half Dimes. The reverse is true for high grade. Very interesting!
