Quote: ...too many coins and I see that can not buy everything that I like. Exactly! This is what turns off many collectors. Their wallets cannot keep up with the incredible number of RCM new releases every month. The mint is killing the hobby.

The August release is close. So, just to share something that I like and bought from the July. (as we can see, the policy of RCM of a multiple coins and series continues, so need to be an extra selective. I do not collect all Silver Dollars, but the "The 60th Anniversary of the Korean Armistice Agreement (2013)" coin I see something more then just another SD - nice design, history, the fact that the coin almost the copy of the real medal. Here the photos: Take a look at the young Queen and the reflection on the wood surface, under the coin:

I received my order of 10 GITD Dino 3 from GW yesterday (which was on backordered when I placed my order with GW, about a week after MC release)..... on the other hand, I still haven't received my GITD Dino 3 from RCM despite I ordered at the MC ordering window.

The Korean Armistice silver dollar is VERY nice in hand. The multiple textures/finishes on the "medal side" of the coin really bring the design to life. I'm very pleased with the coin and would definitely recommend it to others who enjoy collecting historical commemoratives.

I returned some of mine.

The Korean Armistice is another spectacular silver dollar.
While we've been buried in gimmicks, the last two silver dollars have raised the bar on this classic series.
Very exciting. These are the sort of offerings that could attract new collectors to the series.

Totally agree. The Korean War Armistice commemorative is very nice. Quote: what's the usual mintage for silver dollar? Really tough to answer that. SD mintages range from 904k in 1973 to 3,722 in 2010 for the special edition Sun. Of course that also depends on how you define 'silver dollar'. My collection is 1971 onward whereas some collectors will go all the way back to 1911. In recent years (2011-2013), it seems the regular SD are 30-40k and special editions are 10-15k.

Colonial Acres has 2013 $2 3/4oz. Silver Bullion Coin - Devil's Brigade for $34.95 IMO, better to by Proof version for C$ 59.95, but probably Bullion collectors will be interested.

@ MoneyPenney ( https://goccf.com/t/150702&whichpage=13#1409560): I really like the GITD effect of the 3rd coin. It doesn't hurt to set some aside (as the kids like it, it make good gift for the kids). Beside the $20-4-$20 coins, every thing else released by RCM cost at least $30/coin..... Plus, it cost me $28.50/coin and I only have to pay $5 total for shipping; so buying 10 coins, even after shipping charge, I still save $10 (compare to RCM).
