This guy is something else. Re-listed this coin again. Still claiming pointed 5 when he knows darn well it isn't ebay item # 181178071855

Cladhunter Thanks for the tip. It's hard to figure out when you don't have a pointed to compare with. I'm still searching.

Stay away from this seller as he can be nasty as I told him he was selling a blunt 5 instead of the pointed one.He told me to stay from his auctions and at the end he said ---- off. Some sellers on ebay are just new sellers and they really do not know any better but he does hoping to get another sucker. One guy had a pointed 5 for sale and it was a maple leaf. I sent him a scan of a pointed 5 nickel and he cancelled his auction.

That should be a 1947 nickel dot and he was selling a 47 maple leaf that he cancelled. Sorry for the confusion.

If you really wanted to, I think you could report him for abusing the messaging system.

I reported the auction. But the reporting system doesn't seem to want context these days.

I just noticed that same seller sold a 1955 NSF penny about 2 months ago for over $200 and it isn't the NSF. It's the common type and the buyer left good feedback.

Seller is outright trying to scam people. He knows the 1965 penny he has listed is a blunt 5. It blows me away that people like this are allowed to continue to sell on ebay? Just plain garbage!

Someone could buy the coin and open a claim that the item was never received. Get the money back and the seller can't resell it.

He has multiple 1965 blunt 5's he has already sold about 10 claiming they were pointed 5's
Some left negative some positive feedback. I assume the ones who left positive just dont know. He tried to convince me that the coin I received was pointed 5.
