Nice going! It's funny, but I think I've found 3 or 4 19-S cents in circulation over the years. Wonder why that date is so special?

What a find! I have found a couple of 1919's, but both in G.

You know, come to think of it, I have found more 1919 then all the 1920's combined.

Thanks for all the responses.

I have used photograde and to me and I think what was messing with me up was that I was just way over thinking. I ended up going back the the basics (ie Red Book) and looking at their grading notes and now I think I got it.

Photograde was messing me up. For me, I need to grade from low to high using the basic (G,VG,F,VF,XF,AU,MS). Then go to the "inbetween" grades.

That's a great find, due to the grade. The best I've gotten is a 1904 Indian that's in the worst condition imaginable. So, a 1918 in VF35 is a lot better.
