No worries. Hope your daughter's move is going well; maybe tell her she just might have a nice little housewarming present, already in hand! One more (and least likely) possibility for this obverse: Vlack 13-78c, which currently exists as a unique specimen discovered in 2008. It was auctioned by Stack's two years ago for $40,250. Can't promise that kind of value, but for some reason, the most exciting coins identified on this forum seem to be those that were found in drawers!

Based on where (I think) the pole would end Between 1 and7) and the upright nature of Britania I will vote 13-78b.

Aw, I wasn't criticizing! It was really just my cocky way of saying I can see enough here to tell which way the reverse image is oriented! Are your Canadian coins in "medal turn," like British coins, then? US coins are in "coin turn" (obverse upside-down relative to reverse). |

I think this identification is going to made on the basis of Britannia's armpit. The shape of the space between her armpit and the shaft of her spear is still well outlined here, and I think it best fits the Vlack 13-78b reverse, which I've pictured here in the same orientation. This specimen also shows the "barrel chest" of Britannia's torso, which also seems to match well. I also think the second 7 in the date can be seen on wert's daughter's coin, which would rule out all but 13-78b (and that unique 13-78c!)  |

I was using her armpit in relation to the pole as well.
I'm fairly confident we are looking at V 13-78b.
