Okay my last post got me thinking, I've got a shop full of tools and some nice wood. I'll give it a try and let you know how I did. I'll aim to have one finished by the end of August. I'll be making it to hold 9 coins. If anyone knows if I should adjust the number of holes please let me know.
thanks

Thanks Solidifier but I'm still only getting 9. 1. Maple Leaves. 2. Canoe. 3. Bear. 4. Grand Ma. 5. Hockey. 6. Reindeer. 7. Wolf (Winter is Coming) 8. Iceberg with Whales 9. Santa
I'll double check with the community in a bit to see if I got it right.
again thanks for the input, I'd rather not mess this up before I start.

Hey Silverwolf, the case is great (awesome), if it isn't a trade secret how did you make the indents for your finger to remove the coin? Free hand with a drill or somthing more.
You went for 15 coins, do you know something or just speculative engineering? (I just made that up, I like it)
Yes I'm posting alot tonight, I doing back ups on old computers at work.

i used a 1" drum sander and just angled the piece with the holes in it to sand out a notch, practice on a scrap piece of wood first, it is pretty easy to do..

and the 15 count was just a guess, ..

Very, very nice, Koinhunter

wish I had a space and wasn't afraid to display the coins....

Btw, the 2-8 slots boxes that you use - do they have a square sells?

Yes, correct.
Since I also have the CC&C cases , wanted to confirm.

Strange that no manufacturer makes the same quality case for round capsules (with glass top or without), for 38mm or other sizes coins.(there are not a few on ebay or AirTites.com , but the quality is not the same)

@silveroid:there is a nicely made mahogany glass lid with a foam insert you can get...do you know where just to buy the foam insert ....then It would be easy to change out the inserts...and cut your own to fit your coins
