Wow, I would be choked when it arrived. Very sad to see people paying for something that should be no more than $150.

NNC is a basement slab operation which is run by that eBays eller. I feel sorry for anyone who bids on those coins thinking the grades are anything close to reality.

Wow, MS64? That's amongst the most extreme overgrades I've seen with NNC...

somebody is going to be upset..The highest this would grade is VF20 but more than likely F 15 at ICCS

Like Pokermandude I'd give this coin EF40.Lots of luster remaining, the reverse leaves as well as the upper laurel leaves appear pristine. The pattern of wear on this coin appears very unusual, would be interesting to see it in hand for about a quarter of the price.I imagine somewhere, someone with little knowledge is patting himself on the back for making a great purchase.

Agreed. In hand I wouldn't be surprised if it was close to an AU. The reverse is very sharp. The obv looks more like a poor strike (common on these) than actual wear. But it is certainly not MS, let alone MS64.

Looking at the ear and the braid below the ear, it looks vf20-30 if comparing to ICCS grades. It does seem to have stronger wear around that area.

Keep in mind that this is coinage axis, as opposed to the more common medal axis.

I think medal alignment is the rare one.

You are right DBM. The medal axis IS the rare one of the two.
The lack of sleep last night is clearly getting the better of me.

VF30-----------------Maybe 35 Max. Too much wear in too many places--NNC must grade on photo appearances only.
