I'm definitely considering it schris252. My main collection is coins, the bills were originally something I was looking to find and put on ebay, but I started to like some of them. But I'm not THAT attached to them, so it's somewhat likely they'll be up for auction soon.

Regardless of "value", I think a note with a serial number that low is priceless!

My jaw dropped when I saw the first note. That is a fantastic find, especially considering you got it for face value. Congratulations, you are very lucky haha!

Mine too! I think I said "holy crap" out loud when I saw it and the customer gave me a weird look.

I'm still thinking about putting it (and all my others) on ebay, but I'm not sure about starting bids and all that. I've got a rough idea of what I'm hoping to get for them but I'm still really new to this stuff. Once I get all that figured out they'll probably be up on ebay!

Nice low serial number dollar note ... likely worthy of a premium on the Bay ... let us know how that goes for you.

Let us know if you post it on the Bay. I'm really liking that low serial.

Sure thing! I actually tossed some of my other bills up on ebay and I'm just seeing how it goes - After these two auctions I'll probably auction my 00000304 * (http://i.imgur.com/X37c3T5.jpg)as well as the 00000030 above.

I am allowed to post the ebay links in here when they go up, right?

Alright, I've put it up on ebay - I will let you guys know what I end up getting for it! I don't know what to expect. I see some other low serials that have gone for pretty high amounts, but they were all higher than my serial - I don't know if mine will go for more, being so low, or what. We'll see I guess! As long as I make more than $1, I've profited (though more would be nice >.>)

I'd link the auction but I'm still a newish member and I do not think that I'm allowed to yet (or maybe not in this forum at all).

Sorry for the triple post, but I just wanted to update this. The auction ended, and it went for a final price of $46.55 if anybody was interesting in seeing what it would go for! Not a bad chunk of money for a total cost of a dollar!

Yep, got close to $50 for the 00000030 note! About what I expected, looking at previous history of low notes. I'm going to sell one or two more soon, including my 0000 0304 * note. I know eBayers seem to looove star notes so I hope that goes fairly well too.
