I see something. Unfortunately I don't think you are going to get an informed opinion with the resolution you have on your coin. I agree that it appears that something is there. What it is I can not say.

Jcuve, it does look exactly like those pics. I know that the latest PicS I posted r much better then before . Spread on the 1& 9 plus the 3 is just like the number one. And the 3 doesn't have as much spread as number 2 does. then there is the 6, it is perfect as the 6's and all the pics at coppercoins & coinfacts. I d check to cross check it over and over with xxxcherrypickers.
please I hope you take another look and closer look and that date and confirm this I'm sticking to my guns on this one. I apologize for my last reply I accidentally pressed reply before I finish

It doesn't look like DDO-001 or 002 from the pics. Have you checked 003? 001 in an uncirculated grade pops. It's a really a nice doubled die.

Looking at your close-up of your date, it does appear to resemble the one that jcuve posted.

I'm getting older and my eyes aren't as good as they used to be - but even zooming the page to 250%, I can't see doubling. Do you have a different camera? Are these the original size of the images or did you size them down?

I zoomed into the second whole coin shot and I don't see any of the characteristic doubling or diagnostics for DDOs 001, 002 or 003.

I would like to see better, clearer close up photos of date, "LIBERTY" and "IN GOD". I see something on the 1 and 6 of the date but I am sure it is not the 001.

I'll say it's definitely not DDO #2, no broken leg "R" in Liberty. And I'm not seeing the doubling to indicate it would be DDO #1.

Sometimes photos can be deceiving, but being I have attributed all the big DDOs from 1936 I am reasonably confident it is not any of them. As noted, all three have a broken T hub in LIBERTY which yours does not seem to show. (001 had the broken T first hubbing and is obscured.) I am attaching a large collage of DDOs 001-004. DDO-004 is 1DO-010 on coppercoins.com and does not have a broken T. 001 & 004 courtesy J Amato, 002 LDS & 003 Watersport collection. Maybe this helps...
